So....
Tonight we were heading off to dinner with the family, and as we were
driving down one of the local roads, we passed a pile of trash on the
curb (tomorrow is trash day, so piles of stuff aren't uncommon,
including the pile of stuff out front of our house this evening). Lots
of folks put stuff out early, especially if trying to get rid of items
that might be of use to others (we rid ourselves of a broken VHS
player and an ink jet printer this afternoon by putting it on the
curb).
Anyway... we're driving down the street, and June says, "Hey, did
you see that?"
"See what?"
"Uhh... nevermind."
"In that pile of trash?"
"More like *under* the pile of trash."
"What was it?"
"I should have kept my mouth closed."
"Why? What was it?"
"An espresso machine. I think it was a two-group."
"Really?" <turning onto a side street>
"Why didn't I just keep my mouth shut? You're not going back, are
you?"
"Of course I'm going back." <turning around and heading back down the
street>
So we head down the street, and lo-and-behold, there on the sidewalk
is a 3-group Nuova Simonelli Program V.
We had to reconfigure the VW a little bit to squeeze it in, but in it
squoze.
:)
....and the universe spoke thusly to Barry...
I'd give a day's pay to see a photo of the
'reconfiguration'. Heck, I'd double my day's pay and give $12 for a
photo.
