Jack understates the case for it. In terms of what you can do from your
newsreader, the only thing you can do that will help at all, is nothing.
Any response, of any kind, only makes it worse. It isn't just the best
treatment, it's the only treatment that's any good at all.

There may be other avenues of recourse. I don't know anything about that.
I just know that you aren't going to talk this cat down by posting on
alt.coffee.

I don't have filters or blocks. My newsreader is literally mine, and
I'd have to implement them, which would be something like building a
fence on my own property to keep me out of the nettles (if there were
any.) I know what nettles look like, might as well just make a note
to stay away from them. But if filters work for you, please use them.

Tex Harmon did ignore him and the stalking got worse, posting his email addy
and phone numbers and culminating in Tex being hounded from the group. It's
all very well turning a blind eye and screaming filter, but who's going to
be his next victim?

If you were Joe Blogs and were looking to have a PID done, who would you
trust we your home, email addresses etc. Well now there's no choice, with
the removal of Tex. Well done all.
