OK, I know that asking opinions for a "best" espresso machine under 100
bucks is tantamount to asking for a recommendation from the "best of the
worst" category...but....
We were hit by a tornado here in Heflin, Al in the first week of May and the
fact is that money is really, really tight. My beloved Rancilio Silvia was
destroyed and my current wife (the Rancilio predates our marriage) just
can't quite wrap her head around the cost of a new espresso machine (she
takes lots of milk and lots...and I do mean LOTS...of sugar even in a
regular drip brew) that she considers a waste. Given that we have still to
rebuild the entire front room of her house, I suppose I understand. But....
...Surely there is at least one decent (if not necessarily long lived)
machine out there that can be had for a single Benjamin.
Thoughts?
there are no good $100.00 espresso machines, not even used.
and hopefully your grinder was spared. It is more important than the
machine.
