Starbucks "fresh" roast

I went into a local Starbucks today ( July 7) and saw something new.
They're giving information about the current roast they are serving
including where and when it was roasted.

I appreciate it that they have started, apparently, roast dating.
Great move. They seem to be continuing the adaptation of some of the
third wave techniques.

But the listed roast date was "June 1"!

I have to admit it's gutsy to proudly announce you are serving a roast
that's 37 days old :-)
