Howdy Folks!
Well, the picnic went off well. Lots of BBQ, grilled meats, potato salad &
slaw, and the tables were over loaded with desserts - Goode Company's
famous pecan pie, home-made lemon merangue pies, home-churned vanilla &
peach ice creams, and a bunch of my Chocoholic's Tarts. Gallons of coffee &
tea, espresso drinks to order (I did bring in a guest barista because my
knee wouldn't permit me doing the honors), and wash tubs filled with
chilled long-necks.
We swam and enjoyed canoeing & paddle boats most of the day, then watched
fireworks at the local high school. All in all a very successsful, and
safe, 4th of July picnic. I hope your 4th was as enjoyable and that
everyone will be around for next year.

Enjoy!
