I am surprised that the failure rate for new coffee houses is so low - is
this authoritative?
We should all fall down and THANK Starbucks for expanding specialty
coffee. I know I do

Oh, PS - I am at a loss as a to why we can't criticise them for IMHO
overroasting coffee?
and, actually, what is the benefit of expanding the specilaity coffee
market? Cutting down trips to the pub and hence the alcoholism rate?

who, perforce, had a *$ with my two lads whilst waiting for the restaurant
to open. Regretfully we were next to one of the those know it all types who
was boasting that she was brilliant at her job; becuase of emails there was
no 9 - 5 anymore; she ought to get a payrise and her boss didn't appreciate
her. I think she was american. The person she was lecturing was, probably,
English and sat there quietly and nodded her head at appropiate intervals.
