Re: fair trade organic coffee?



This might be a tad off topic as far as coffee is concerned, but it
fits into the organic thread. I was at the grocery store, buying
Maple syrup. Maple Syrup is one of the few agriculturals product
native to the reagion in which I reside. Anyway they had USDA
certified Organic maple Syrup. How does one not produce organic maple
syrup? The stuff comes from boiled tree sap. How does one add
chemicals to trees in the woods?
