In another incredible quality screw-up by Rancilio, you were one of
those who got the WRONG size basket -- shipped with your machine. I
have seen it too, and still have it here.

the one you have is garbage, so get it off by whatever means necessary
-- hammer and chisel -- gently.

If this is a new amchine -- I guess it is, demand a new, correct 58 mm
double basket. (BTW, the single is worthless pitch it out.)
