First, is the ProCon labeled as NSF certified (not all are & I'm not sure
what the difference is)?

At a garage sale this weekend, I found a Pro Con pump attached to a
1/3 HP motor for $25 (I think it was used for some kind of "water
feature"). Works fine. I want to use it for my "direct connect"
LaSacala lever machine. Connecting the pump looks pretty straight
forward. I even found a bit on the web by some guy who had done this
on a similar machine. My question is: Can I power the motor by
extending the wires that currently power the machine's vibe pump? In
the article, the guy showed a relay but it was not too clear what the
relay was for. I am presuming that the machine's power leads are going
to one side of the relay and the motor to the other. The motor is 110V
and has a short cord with a standard 3 prong plug. But that would be
very easy to change. I have plenty of room under the counter for the
motor/pump, power is right there if I need it and there is even a hole
in the counter where the current water supply line comes through.
Thanx
DD
