My wife uttered the magic words the other day. "At one click, it

I could explain the benefits of a better, stepless grinder. (We
have a Solis Maestro Plus.) So I'm shopping for a new grinder.
I like the Mazzer Mini but I'm wondering if the doser is
appropriate at home. We only make a couple drinks at a time.
So I'm thinking that we either have to grind exactly enough and
empty the doser every session (at which point the doser is kind
of getting in the way) or deal with stale grounds.
I hear nothing but good things about the Mini so maybe it's
not that big a deal to empty it ? If not, is there another in
the same class that you'd recommend ? I'm aware of the Macap
M4 but 1st Line's warning against adjusting it while it's not
moving make it a non-starter.
Thanks!
The doser vs doserless debate is never ending, you either love dosers or
you don't and vice versa.
The Mazzer Mini-E is doserless, but is slightly more expensive. Might be
worth considering though.
