When you buy your coffee, pay market price and order from a company
that will sell you 100 plus pounds in a burlap bag.
There is a company that will sell one bag. At no increase in price
over 1000 bag oders!
Coffee is alive and must breath. If you seal it up in an airtight
container, it will go bad.
I know a coffee company that found out this the hard way. Roast that
bad coffee, and it will smell like a skunk!
Roast good coffee and it smells like chocaloate chip cookeis baking.
The coffee should be thrown into the back of a truck and delivered to
your door, in the burlap bag.
The truck should only be used for food shipments.. no chemicals!
Store in orginal burlap bag in dry climate controlled room. Do not
block air flow thru bag.
Buy a coffee that ages well.
Remember, you should be saving tons of money roasting your own coffee.
Get your roaster (corn popper) at a yard sale!
Been roasting > 7 years.. I'm on my third bag.
