Ton,
If you like the results, your iR2 must be working OK. Where is the TC
probe located ? What are the temp. readings of the iR2 ?
I suggest you program this profile, do a roast and note the temps of
both the TC and the iR2 every 30 sec. and post the results here. If
you have a voltmeter, measure the AC voltage.
1- 3 min. 320 F.
2- 2 min. 355 F.
3- 2 min. 385 F.
4- 1.5 min. 410 F.
5- 6.5 min. 435 F.
You will have to stop the roast manually according to colour somewhere
between 04:00 and 02:30 (time display). If you are not sure, stop at
03:30 - the beans will be around FC+ to Vienna. The fan should be at
high speed until you reach stage 4, the time will show 06:30 - it will
switch to low and stay at low speed until cooling. Make sure the TC is
in the beans, but not touching the steel bottom, not too close from the
glass side.
Have fun !
