I got my Willoughby's FTO Harar today.
Roasted to City + and gave it a try after cooling, but before resting.
Damn good, but no blueberry. ;-(
I'll wait a day or two to see how resting affects the flavoring.
If you are looking for blueberry I would stop right at the end of
first crack as a starting point. Blueberry, if it is there, should be
apparent immediately both in the dry aroma (after grinding) and in the
brew.
But stopping this early produces a somewhat harsh and thin cup IMHO,
so you'll want to extend the roast from there until you're happy with
the result. Roughly that point where the brew mellows but has not lost
the blueberry.
All IMHO of course.
Harar is amazing to me in the extent to which you can work it.
Good luck!
