If anyone served me anything that looked like that, the next thing I would be doing is timing how fast the manager could make it to my table. Please, please don't tell me that the stains were on the cup and saucer when it got to you.
After showing the manager the absolute mess that was put in front of me, I would probably tell him that if his establisment can't make espresso or doesn't know what espresso is, then take it off the menu.
