I think the guy on coffeegeek is right: I see a thin plastic sleeve at the
bottom of the boiler using my flashlight. I feel like I'm in Das Boot. How
the heck can I get it out of the boiler? Can I just replace it and spend
the next ten years boiling that part and drinking from it?
