I-roast 2 and the Z-D roaster, either any good?

I really dislike roasting with a heat gun, and I have decided that I am
willing to invest some money into a roaster until such time that I make
my own drum roaster. I read Tom-from-SM's review of the Z-D and the
I-Roast 2 and didn't really think that much of either of them. I read
up on them at coffee geek and now I am not sure either is worth it. I
prefer lightly roasted coffee and espresso, typically I stop at the
first indication of a second crack, or if I can catch it right before
second crack. The I-Roast 2 seems determined to burn what ever you put
in it, and the Z-D doesn't have any adjustabilty in the profile, and it
possibly takes to long, and Tom says there is a dullness in the cup
with it. I just don't think I can order a pound or two of roasted
coffee every week, so I need to roast my own. What is the best choice
in the sub $200 roasters? I am considering the SC/TO, but it still
seems to be a pain in the ass, and I would rather roast in doors. Any
suggestions?
