I wasn't taling about timing. If you reduice the the voltge to 1 volt,
you could theoretically run 250 amps (that's still 250 voltamps) and
run it indefinitely. Alas, wire sizing is by amps, not voltamps, and
the windings would have melted down a long time before that.
