I had one of these, and it made moka-pot-style coffee very well. The
grounds-to-coffee ratio was the same as with any moka pot and if used
properly, it is sealed during use so that there is no splatter.

The reason I didn't keep it is that it is pretty ugly and fairly bulky
for the job it does. With all the beautiful moka pots available to us
for that kind of coffee, this wasn't something I wanted to play with.
