Rather than use couriers, you can try the method most freight
forwarders use.
Get the numbers of some local haulage companies and ask if they are
sending anything up north.Otherwise try hauliers near Middlesborough
and ask if they have any wagons heading down to you.
Either way they usually they have room for a single pallet load at a
very low cost compared to other methods.
Ok, it takes a little time on the phone, but it usually saves a bundle.
