Hi Danny,
Of course, I'm over here in the US and have no advice for you on UK
couriers, but the way the machine is crated and prepared is probably more
critical than the shipper.
Make sure they drain the boilers. That adds extra weight/inertia/damage if
it is handled roughly. Make sure it is securely bolted to the crate.
300 miles? For peace of mind, I'd make a road trip. Call it a vacation.
