I started iwth a Briel Artemis. boiler, steams very well. The only
drawback is the "cremaster" filter basket. But you may not escape that
in more costly machines. I upgraded to a Solis SL70 which also shipped
iwth a crema inhancing filter basket. The up side is that you can get
after market filter baskets to replace them for about $10 US. The 53mm
basket fits both the Briel and the Solis. The Briel runs about
$170-$180 but the Solis is closer to $400. I wrote a review on the
