Is there a reason why they didn't bury the water line when they brought it in ? I realize it will never freeze but as you pointed out it's not a great idea to have your pipes above ground where they are vulnerable to physical damage.

Here the ground is almost solid rock so we generally don't bury the PVC. I'll be changing to black flexible plastic soon.


125 PSI IS too high a pressure. I keep lovering it at the valve at the street but my neighbor keeps dropping trees on the pipe, fixing it and cranking the pressure back up.

Soon I'll have catchment tanks for coffee trees and will only use county water for household use.

Since I live in an area difficult to get a fire truck into, a high PSI might come in handy.

As for coffee beans, I guess I could use the water pressure in a water cannon to force the beans into the air (for some reason). The quote "Shot from guns" comes to mind, but is already taken.
