um, I am no sparky... (but my brother is, so does that count?)
It may be worth talking to a tech who can double check stuff for you,
assuming that you don't know all the stuff.
would be a shame to kill it cos you plugged it in upside down...
you can use 240 wire on 100 v power, just make sure the right number of
volts are going to the right place... - hence my suggestion - get a tech to
help you onsite.
