Martin,
I am sorry if my remarks have led to a misunderstanding between us. I
have no beef and hope you don't either. I am not going to try to
explain what I was thinking when I made those remarks or any of that.
This conversation is beginning to serve no purpose to anyone. Again
probably my fault and if so I apologize.
Yes Martin I love pan roasting and believe in it very much. I do feel
that the coffee I roast is very good to me and to those whom I share it
with (based on their reaction). I do take pride in the coffee I roast.
Information let alone detailed information is scarcely found about pan
roasting coffee and how exactly to do it. I provide detailed
information to make it easier to anyone who may want to try it. Again
not because I think I have the skills, or I think that am some super
talented roaster. I assure I am not. I have like many before me
simply put in the time and perseverance to iron out a repeatable method
of successful pan roasting. Lets face fact, pan roasting or any
roasting for that matter does have a learning curve and in today's
busy world some people may not be willing to sacrifice the beans let
alone the time to iron out the variables of pan roasting.
I offer information not to grandstand or build myself up in front of
others rather I wish to bring others to an activity that I love doing
so much.
Regards,
Tim
