Instead of selling the Silvia, you can PID it for the next step. I
enjoy my Silvia a LOT more since I added the Fuji PID controller to
it. My espresso pages, including PID'ing Silvia, Autofilling Silvia

I agree with Ken and others on the grinder. Go for the Rocky (or
better) now. Anything less is a waste of money -- you'll make powder
of the coffee and/or and wear out the grinder quickly. On the other
hand, if you start with something cheaper, you can enjoy the good
espresso. Then, upgrade the grinder and enjoy much better espresso.
