I was in the Mall yesterday and noticed a new store had opened selling
Verizon Wireless. It's "Diamond Wireless", not a corporate store, and

price for the Incredible 2 when I'm eligible for the cheap price in
March.

He was running 'Cupcake' on his Droid. I was impressed as it's not even
out yet.

Anyone know how this guy can beat the corporate store's price? Is he
scamming me? What's the catch?

Not sure why you are impressed. The Incredible 2 has been out for maybe
9 month now. I got mine for $25 from Wirefly about 6 months ago. When
you are eligible for your upgrade it will be a year old and there are
already better choices (although I really like my phone). Radio Shack
had it free recently and I suspect that other places have as well.
Verizon is NOT the cheapest place to get a phone. However, if you cancel
or otherwise deactivate your phone within 6 months, you will pay them an
ETF in addition to the one you'll owe to Verizon. Amazon Wireless is
also a good place to buy, they often have very good prices.

I love my Incredible. If I don't get the Incredible 2, which I like because it has the dual cameras for Skyping and it's global, it will be another HTC phone. Never another Motorola! The HTC is so simple o the outside. One botton on top to turn it on and off. One rocker switch on the side which only adjusts volume. Nothing to turn itself on in my pocket or purse.

The cheap phones I've seen come with a contract. I have to be very careful as I have unlimited data and don't want to lose it. If I sign on with another dealer, I might.
