My HTC Incredible got it's update to the new Android OS this morning. I
suppose it is now a hotspot, but AFAIK, Verizon will charge me for using
it as such. I still have my unlimited data plan for the phone but I know
that I'd have to pay for tethering.
My question is: If I install PDA Net now that I have been updated to
the new OS, will Verizon charge me for data usage?
No other users have reported being charged by Verizon for using
PdaNet (or EasyTether).
Thanks for the information.
I haven't downloaded it yet as I seem to be doing well with WiFi and the phone itself does everything I need while traveling (and more) I'm still considering whether to download PDAnet or Easy Tether, but it looks easier to do PDA net.
