She wanted to use my sellphone.....

I was in the mall where some major sellphone carriers don't have
repeaters or a decent signal. A nice lady at the next table was talking
loudly, as if that would get her voice to her daughter any better with
no signal on GSM.

"Ma'am, would you like to use my phone to make that call?", I offered.

She thanked me and dialed her number from my trusty old Motorola Z6m on
Pageplus at 3.6c/min. When her perfect call was over, she offered to
pay me for my airtime. Trying not to sound too much like a smartass
after her 3 minute phone call and trying NOT to laugh, I accepted her
offer, "That was about 3 minutes or so....about ten cents on Pageplus
Cellular. Thanks." I would only accept the dime then suggested she
join us on Pageplus, which has full scale signals in the mall on Verizon
with several Verizon dealers using cheater repeaters to improve signals.

I just emailed her the usual information. From the look on her face,
not paying a $100/month sellphone bill is going to take some getting
used to....hee hee.
