Well, I sync with my work Exchange server so I don't use Google. Also,
I understand you can sync with Outlook on your desktop. So, Google is
not required unless you require and OTA option, which would be either
Exchange or Google.
Do you "understand" how? All of the data I've been able to get myself
on this so far is that Droid is OTA only via Google's online services.
I'm going to the Verizon Wireless store tomorrow or Wednesday...
Do a Google (or whatever your favorite search engine is) for HTC Sync.
It is software supplied by HTC that allows you to sync your contacts
and calendar with Outlook.
