Greeting all,
Thanks for the replys,
1- I always have problems with customer service so I am use to that, and yes most of them do lie. LOL
A lot of it depends on your attitude. If you are a "Larry" and bitch all of the time you are only going to hang up and say "see, I knew it.." each time.
I made very extensive changes on my plan earlier this year. They were pleasant to deal with and honored every single thing they promised.
One of the phones on our plan had "an issue" and no insurance. I went to the local store. A guy before me tried to bitch and bulldoze and they charged him full freight. I had a polite discussion and walked away happy.
2- My sister is heavy into texting so Ineed to focus that way for her.
3- My dad what a simple plan jane phone that can receive text.
4- I want to get a phone ( like a Berry ) that can text, email, web surf, phone call, etc.
I am use to a "flip" style phone due to a smaller sizer so I really need to see the size and weigth of the Berry phone.
Stop at a store. No one can possibly describe or suggest what fits you. They have most of the current phones and all are usually provisioned so you can tinker.
5- I currently have 5 phones with Sprint, 3 of the 5 are out of contract so I need to figure out the penalty for moving and porting trhe numbers.
6- I would also guess IN would need to reprogram the new phone with numbers, do the new phones come with a USB cable and a phonebook editor or somesort of software the enter all the phone numbers like Motorolas phone program.
You need to investigate that. Smartphones are super simple. Some phones need a cable.
7- So heres the question. Currently when I have a problem with my Sprint/Nextel phone I goto a Sprint store, and wait the 1 hour or so and get it fixed on the spot (most times). Are there Verizon service centers that can do the same, most places I see are Kioskis, retail store, etc. Have not seen a stand alone sotre in my area.
The kiosks are usually full service. It is quite surprising what they are able to do.
Again thanks for your time..
I am not looking for neagtive feed back so if YOU have had a problem(s) I do not need to know, we all have problems with C/S, service places, its just the way this world has turned into. I am also sorry for the long post.
