Another thing. if you get a phone with no WiFi just get a card for it.
I have an SD slot WiFi for my Plam E2. They make them form microSD and
miniSD now too. Mostly for Windows OS but some for Palm OS as well.
Company called Spectec makes a bunch but think just for windows. Check
out Amazon there are several listred
I also just talked to my corporate sales rep and you can still get a
Palm Centro (Palm OS) or Verizon XV6900 without a data plan.
Update: It seems the WiFi card won't work on the Palm OS Garnet as it
only supports 2 radios, one for cell service and one for Bluetooth. I
saw some hacks for a Palm Treo 650 but don't think I'd try it. Should
work though with windows OS
Not quite correct. You would have to get a pay by the KB data plan. The
costs rise quickly when you're paying by the KB.
Well, OK but I don't think you "get it" you are just charged for usage
and if you don't use it you don't get charged. Connecting via WiFi
would not incure any data charges
