My current verizon wireless contract (with four users) expires in
March. I think we are now eligible to get new phones at a discount. My
daughter is away at college, and her current phone is dying.
Questions:
- Do we need to renew our contract when we get new phones?
Yes, to get the lower price
- Do we all need to get new phones at the same time? Same place?
No. The primary phone gets the big discount so do it first. The new
two years starts with the last phone so it's smarter to do them all at
once.
- Do we get a better deal if we get new phones when we renew our
contract?
Yes, and then sell the old ones on Ebay. You'll likely come out nearly
even.
