and say phone is not supported on prepay as they can offer no tech
support. I tell her that makes no sense. Well she says you won't have text
messaging and we can't help with that. I tell her I have messaging now on
the phone I have, I pay by the minute for that and for my calls. She did
everything but tell me that with that phone they won't make any money on
me. I've sent a message to email support but I expect the same nonsensical
answer. The phone places call, I can use it as a pda and with a bluetooth
gps unit, use it for navigation. Maybe I can reach someone at Verizon that
knows what their doing, but I doubt they will help.
Smart phones require a data plan for activation on VZW.
Well I switched to another service, still using verizons equipment. And the
Palm Treo 700w is working fine. Using wireless to access my email. There is
no reason I couldn't use this phone with verizon. With out a data plan the
phone /pda works fine. I'm still pre-pay and still have service.
