My Verizon/Motorola RAZR V3m appears to have a metalic shell, possibly aluminum. It ain't cheap but I've found it satisfactory so far. I've had it since December.
I wouldn't suggest getting a phone from Verizon though, they tend to cripple them in ways that they hope will maximize their profits.
