Ever hear of MagicJack?

Nope. But I'm open to new stuff. Tell us all more!

magicjack.com. check it out.

Interesting. I wonder how long it can run when it matures and the $40
equipment payments stop. Over on:

Those that made it work, seem happy. Those that didn't with no support
weren't so happy and out $40.

I see some don't like having a Detroit number with no way to change it:
"Hookup was very simple--but I didn't get an option to pick my area code
so I have a Detroit Number (I think) but I also got a GrandCentral Number
that should forward. It must have been under 5 minutes to set up number
and start dialing. I haven't received any calls yet, but so far it seems
to work."

I'll keep an eye on it as it matures. Looks like it's not ready for
primetime, yet. Of course, it has no Skype-to-Skype features, which I
use lots more than the phone interconnect. I fixed a Russian analog TV
in Siberia via Skype-to-Skype with video...(c;

Next time some broker tells you what a great investment he's selling,
ask him about Rhodium, a shiny metal used in Catalytic Converters.
