Why is it that these cell phone companies keep adding features ( V-cast,
web, games, MP3 player, ect) and the network dose not get any better?
Companies keep making cell phones to do more stuff, ( Maybe even cook
dinner - soon) and they would become useless if the network signal is not
available. Phones keep getting better but not the network. All cell phone
companies are the same way ( VZW, Sprint, Nextel, AT&T, Cingular) If you
are not near an interstate or a big city, you can't get any thing. I am
on the very fringe of the VZW network. I live out side a small town in
Northern Kentucky that as no coverage in the town. Network coverage in
Northern Kentucky is kind of poor any way and is not getting any better.
Kentucky is one of the few populated states that does not have good Verizon
coverage-- though the south-central area, Bowling Green, Edmonton and all,
is pretty good.
They develop/push the kiddie features because the stupid ninnies buy them
and use them-- running up their cell bills 20-30-40 dollars or more each
month higher than they need to be. That's the glory of our system-- if fools
will buy it, VZW would be dumb not to sell it. It's really high margin
income too.
As for me, I'm waiting for the MotoLG 3400XXX model phone. It will have an
electric shaver, flashlight and can opener along with drink cooler and a
vibrator attachment for the ladies...
