I logged on to upgrade my phone at verizonwireless.com and the Motorola 815
is no longer listed.

Is there another venue to purchase a new Motorola 815 at the 49.95 upgrade
price which was previously listed?
It's still listed here in FL. I know I had to punch in my zip to display the
phones available, you may just want to try inputting 34293 as your location,
then choose the E815. Worth a try.
