Now you've got me wondering just what that reason is. Care to
elaborate? From your comments, I take it long distance charges aren't
the real issue. If we know the why, we may be able to suggest an
alternative.
Not sure why you need a reason and why you cannot just answer the OP's
question, or not, without questioning his motives. What is that of your
concern.
First, why are you incapable of assembling your thoughts into one
post? Are you in such a rush to post you don't think things through
before hitting send?
And yes, it does raise the suspicion that someone wants to get into
someone else's VM without them knowing. If they are the owner of the
account, they can have the VM disabled or the P/W changed, then they
can check the VM at their leisure without the holder of their phone
being able to access it. If not, they have no business being in
there, and I'm not about to help someone violate someone else's
privacy (or the law).
But, if that is not the OP's motive and they are looking for a
workaround, it would help greatly to know exactly what situation they
were trying to work around, since the solution they were asking for
apparently doesn't exist anymore. If you had paid attention here the
past many years, you would know that from time to time, a person asks
for help with a problem, and only after some Q&A a solution is found.
There are some innovative people here, and with a bit more info, ideas
may flow forth.
