Please close 'Preferences' dialog before exiting VZAccess Manager

Hi,
Whenever I try to exit out of VZAccess manager, a message box comes up
saying
"Please close 'Preferences' dialog before exiting VZAccess Manager.".
I do not have the prefrences dialog open! I have to end the process to
finally get it to close. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the
application but it still happens. No amount of reboots seem to help.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? I searched the web and groups
for the message but found nothing.

The message appears no matter what way I try to exit the application.
Close button in top right corenver / File > Exit / right-click tray
icon.

If anyone has any ideas I would appriciate it.
