I have the Samsung I-730.....
If I had to replace it I would buy another I-730 and here is why...
YOu can do ANYTHING with it. It's NOT tied into Verizon's "V-cast"
or "Get it now" crap.
Because this phone DOES NOT have a camera in it, it's not banned from a lot
of locations.
I can take pictures with a Casio camera I have on a SD card and e-mail them
from the PDA.
I use the EVDO datastream to watch full speed video from a "Slingbox" video
server.
I use it to listen to XM radio online.
I use the slideout keyboard a lot.
I'ts a damn good phone, a little thick..but it works fine.
Text messaging is a breeze on it.
Sending E-Mail is just as easy.
Battery life is pretty good on the BIG battery, carry the small battery as a
back-up.
The display CAN be seen in bright light, however the colors are washed out.
Voice dialing works great, if you are in a quiet place.
Try the I-730, you have 14 days to return it. I suspect you will want to
keep it.
