I asked this recently and got no response, but by searching for the
models on amazon it looks like Audiovox.

It is Audiovox. I've owned 2 of them and they were almost bullet-proof.
Long battery life, little pull up antennas and great reception.
Absolutely no support from Audiovox. Called once and was treated like an
unwanted nuisance by a less than courteous rep. He couldn't wait to get
me off the phone.
This go around with my NE2, I chose a Motorola because I wanted a phone
I could plug an antenna into and the Audiovox phones didn't work well at
all with a Wilson cellular or similar antenna. (Lots of places sell
adapters, but they don't work)
How come you had to go through Audiovox's c/s?
You were not with Verizon at the time?
Besides having good reception my other main concern was getting a cell that
could take a licking & keep on...talking.I have a V325 & it seem's to be
doing ok but it's only around four months old.
