you've got the correct plans and should be good to go. some verizon
store agents are a lot more knowledgeable than others, i'll agree to
that for sure. i've found that dealing with company stores and not
the authorized agent stores returns a lot more useful and correct
information so you may want to be sure that your store is company
owned. the MOK is just as advertised so i don't understand your beef
about that. as for being greedy...i wouldn't characterize it as that.
they're offering a product and service at a certain price. as a
consumer you can accept that price or look for alternatives. many of
us chose the alternative by using phones that can access the net
without the pricey $59.95 add-on data plan.

in any case once you get everything hooked up and running you're good
to go on both the national access (NA) and quick-2-net (q2n) networks.
just keep in mind the limitations of NA that were mentioned in an
earlier post.
