Now we're back from vacation in Tennessee. The 6100 worked fine during the
trip with just a couple of glitches. One time we didn't receive a call, and
another time it took 3 rings on the caller end before the cell rang. As
soon as we got near home, about 4 blocks, the problem started again. This
is just bizarre!! At home and within a few blocks from our house, the 6100
consistently does not receive calls. I'm wondering if we're close to two
towers and the towers aren't able to decide which one should send the call.
On the rare occasion it does receive the call, it usually takes 3 rings on
the caller end before the phone rings. Anyway, I called Verizon this
morning and they are going to overnight a Moto V276. I hope this solves the
problem because my wife is losing patience and wants to drop Verizon
altogether.
