Hello. Someone gave me a Samsung ACH A670. I found a little lever on it, which turned out to be the battery release. I released it for a few seconds, then put the (fully charged) battery back in. The phone failed to power up. I connected the charger. The phone insists on charging the battery, says the charging is completed, then doesn't respond. If I disconnect the charger, it says that there is no charger attached, and turns off. What is going on? How can I fix this?
No idea, other than the phone OR battery is definitely a lemon.
Have you tried another battery and/or charger, just to see what happens?
Also, does hte phone store phone numbers and images in flash memory (non-volatile) or some form of volatile memory? (ie. Did I loose the data in the phone when I removed the battery?)
Nearly all phones (except PDA phones, but even that is starting to change) store contact information in nonvolatile memory.
