It was mentioned before that you may be able to manualy change your phone to a non gps phone by using Verizons web site. It did work for some , not sure it still works.I tried using the web site, it refused both 3-4YRold non-gps Motorola phones previously used on the same network, one on same account. Thus my tirade with Verizon here and with their "help" desk.
Currently looking for a new, efficient, cheap, unbreakable simple replacement. The phones presented on Verizon Web are not satisfactory, however a while ago I saw a partially rubber covered (motorola?) at a Verizon-Circuit-City location. I do not want to spend $$ on junk.
