This got me infuriated when I switched from the i600 to the Treo 600
and nobody told me about this. Verizon ended up resolving the costs
but everyone on the "new" faster network is charged per the current
data plan. Anything other than extremely rare data use will render the
$45 unlimited Internet plan the only one reasonable.
The i600 and other phones of that generation run on Verizon's old,
slower network, although I thought the surfing speed and pop mail
retreival were fine.
