Re: Impressions of V3xx?

If I am not using data (no 3G) is the Krzr esentially a V3xx clone?

No. There are a number of differences, ann they're both different
form factors.

Here's a side by side comparison of specs
http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/compare.php?id%5B%5D=1007&id%5B%5D=1086

V3xx has a lower resolution camera, about half the talk time, one less
GSM band. On the plus side, though, it has 3G data rates as you know,
3x the memory of the Krzr (which if you store a bashitload in your
calendar might be an issue?), and 2 WCDMA bands that the Krzr lacks
(does WCDMA do anything for us AT&T folks by the way?), and the V3xx
screen is 240 x 320 pixels vs the Krzr's screen which is 176 x 220
pixels. That screen size and memory may be what sways you for your
calendaring desires.

Only you and your eyes and hands with the two in front of you will
help you decide, I suspect.

Are there any other advantages to the V3xx (I do plan on extensive use
of the appt. calendar).

Is there an AT&T store near you that carries both that might have two
working demo models that you can compare side by side?

Seems it's time to stop researching and time to get two of em side by
side and pull the trigger. :-) The key for you I suspect will be
eyeballing what the calendars look like side by side on those
differently sized screens.
