Hi Todd,
I am new to these forums, and I'm trying to get a hang of how they
work. If I made a mistake and if John was speaking to someone else,
John I'm very sorry for my rather blunt reply and I take all
responsibility without excuse.
Once again, I am sorry.
Yes Todd, My Nokia E62 does not have Blazer, and I'm truly finding out
how new the E62 and the Symbian 60 3rd edition is and how little
support is for the OS right now. I found out that my Flash Player does
not work and I tried to go to Adobe and get the download for my phone,
and they do not have one available yet.
I've discovered today that the WWW browser on my phone had no Flash
Player, nor can I find one to use for the browser, so I believe this
is why I can't access many sites.
In God's Grace,
Ric

I believe he was talking to Kurt- he and John have "history." (Actually,
almost everyone here and John have "history" eventually- myself included!)

I know the difference between wap and www (HTML) like the back of my
hand.
You must have missed the part where I said that Cingular has some
sites blocked out so that you can pay a monthly fee to access them.
How kind of Cingular.
That seems unlikely since someone reported they could access it with
Blazer on a Treo. If Cingular was blocking the _site_ no browser could
reach it directly (I realize Opera Mini uses a proxy and would be immune
to such a block, but Blazer certainly doesn't use a proxy.)
It seems far more likely (given the Blazer anecdote) that MySpace simply
isn't compatible with the E62's browser(s) doesn't it?
I downloaded the Opera Mini and it works kind of well, and it bypasses
the Cingular block-outs. I was asking if there were any other web
browsers for my Nokia E62 that I could download that might work better
than the Opera Mini browser. Did you miss that too?
Is the E62 a Symbian phone? If so, you could try Netfront. I used to
use it on my Nokia 3650 and 3620 and it was compatible with most sites
the Nok's built-in browser couldn't render.
IIRC, Netfront offers a 15-day free trial, so you could try before you buy.
