Yep. Old news here. Not terribly surprising.
Actually it is. You'd think a big sophisticated company would understand
that the carrot is better than the stick getting people to change their
behavior. Offer an inducement to change phones, don't say if you don't,
we'll punish you.
and TDMA/Gait customers. They'll it the door a full month before the 5 bucks
hits their bills. The VIP site also has "special deals" for some of those
customers on hardware. (Yes, those deals are tied to ARPU and profitability-
That's WHY you go into business, to make a profit, not as a public service)
