You can also buy a sim card cloner for about $15 online, but that would
require removing your other sim card.

Sure no problem (you would not be able to use the 6260 while the 6010 is
active). Customer Care can activate a new SIM with that number to use in
the 6010 (assuming both phones are "Orange").

I have a Nokia 6260 with a bad on/off switch, so if turned off, cannot
turn it back on. Therefore temporarily also using a cheapo Nokia 6010
until I can have a friend mail the switch.
However, I do not want to remove the sims card from the 6260 to put in
the 6010 as that necessitates restarting the phone, which cannot be done
until the new switch is in place.
I have been told that to obtain a second sims a second phone number is
needed. To do this, I would need a multiple plan which increases the
monthly cost from about $45 to $65. Is there any way that the 2nd phone
can use a sims with the same phone number, or any other way around this
ridiculous charge?
